ZE Donates ZEMA Software to WSU’s New Educational Trading Center

February 5, 2015, VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada -

ZE PowerGroup Inc. (ZE), the developer of the award-winning enterprise data management software ZEMA, announced today that it will grant complimentary use of ZEMA to students of Wichita State University (WSU). ZEMA will be used by students of the new Koch Global Trading Center, a simulated trading facility with equipment to monitor global, real-time trading information. ZEMA software will perform an integral function in this new facility by supplying students with advanced data management and analysis capabilities of the energy and commodities industries. The gift is valued at over 175,000 USD per annum.

“Every day, trade and risk professionals in energy and commodities companies worldwide use the ZEMA solution to make strategic sense of large volumes of market and internal data,” said Aiman El-Ramly, Chief Strategy Officer at ZE. “We at ZE are excited to be able to offer this capability as a learning tool to the next generation of industry leaders. Our donation of the ZEMA software is part of our corporate commitment to support academic research and promote education.”

ZE has donated numerous user licenses to WSU students and will also provide training and assistance to the faculty to help them properly equip students to use ZEMA. As a result, WSU students can access ZEMA’s extensive data library, as well as its robust analysis and curve management, giving them an applied learning experience in commodity and financial trading.

“We at WSU want to express our sincere gratitude to ZE for their generous gift toward the professional development of our students,” said Dr. Timothy Craft, Associate Professor and Director of the Koch Global Trading Center. “By using industry-grade tools, our students will be able to receive relevant, hands-on trading experience to better equip them to become skilled leaders in the workforce.”
