Data Management Software Users Vote ZEMA as #1
April 07, 2011 – Richmond, B.C. − On March 1, 2011 Energy Risk Magazine released their annual Software Rankings survey where the ZEMA Suite was selected #1 in every Data Management category. These categories included, “Preferred System”, “Ease of Integration with Other Systems”, and “Best Customer Service”. This is the second year in a row that ZEMA has been ranked #1 in all data management categories in this survey.
The survey received responses from banks, energy trading companies, oil/gas houses, hedge funds, brokerage houses, utilities, energy producers and others. The survey describes activities and reasons for new software investments, and then provides categorized software rankings broken down by Software, Data Management, and Data and Market Information Provider.
With last year’s results indicating high numbers for planned investment in new software, it is no surprise that system implementations sky rocketed with 51% of respondents taking part in a software implementation. This is a dramatic increase from the 12% reported in the 2009 survey.
Dissatisfaction with system usability and speed are again key reasons for most software updates. ZE PowerGroup, believes the suite’s strength in these areas is the reason for ZEMA’s exceptional rankings two years consecutively and continued market penetration. Since 2009, ZEMA has repeatedly doubled its sales and client base. The Suite has also successfully expanded into new markets within North America and Europe as well as into new industries.
