Powerex Corp. Deploys ZE Data Management Suite
March 03, 2003 – Vancouver, B.C. − ZE Power Group Inc. (ZE) announced today that Powerex Corp., the wholly owned power marketing arm of BC Hydro, has implemented its ZE Data Management Suite, comprised of the ZE Data Manager and ZE Market Analyzer.
Deployed in November 2002, Powerex is using the ZE Data Management Suite to analyze market data and automate the management of that data.
The ZE Data Manager is designed to fully automate and centralize the downloading and importing of extensive amounts of external data available in the energy markets, as well as integrate a customer’s own internal data. The ZE Market Analyzer is a JAVA- based web application that enables flexible, automated market data extraction and modeling with subsequent exporting, graphing and analysis of the results. The ZE Market Analyzer empowers corporations to become more efficient by augmenting strategic decision-making tools with market data and analysis.
