ZE’s Chief Strategy Officer to Discuss the Value of Better Data Management in Scottsdale, AZ

November 24, 2014, VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada -

ZE PowerGroup Inc. (ZE), developer of ZEMA, the leading enterprise data management software solution for energy and commodities markets, is pleased to announce it is sponsoring and presenting at EUCI’s conference: Integrating Energy Trading, Valuation, Market and Credit Risk Management, taking place in Scottsdale, AZ, from December 10-11, 2014. Aiman El-Ramly, Chief Strategy Officer at ZE, is a featured speaker on the agenda and will give a presentation on “Data Management within a Holistic Framework” at 10:15 a.m. on December 11.

Aiman will discuss with attendees how out-of-date technology systems put industry participants at risk, and how implementing ZEMA can help lessen this exposure and ensure profitability. The conference will feature other leading experts in energy trading, valuation, and risk management in a series of presentations and panel discussions on the challenges facing the energy industry today.

“The intricacy and volatility of today’s energy and commodity trading landscape places greater emphasis than ever before on managing risk exposure as well as data and systems integration,” said Aiman. “Given these circumstances, it is increasingly important to ensure the adequacy of IT systems that allow dynamic decision making. We developed ZEMA to play an integral part within the corporate enterprise software landscape.”

ZEMA is designed to meet the analytical and reporting needs of traders, business analysts, risk managers, and other key business users. ZEMA automates the collection, validation, and centralization of large volumes of cross-commodity data and stores it within an extensive data library for further analysis. ZEMA allows users to manipulate this data to build their own sophisticated analyses. Leveraging ZEMA’s curve development capability, users can create complex, auditable curves that can easily be shared with third-party downstream systems.
